Fire Extinguisher Recycling
Expired, depressurised, rusty or discharged fire extinguishers should never go out with the rubbish. Pressure vessels and extinguishing agents can be a safety and pollution hazard, and improper disposal may breach the Waste Disposal Ordinance (Cap. 354). With more than forty years in business, Shinning Trading & Manufacturing Co. Ltd. (STMHK) is a Fire Services Department Registered Fire Service Installation Contractor (RC3/861). We take back extinguishers from shops, building management offices and homes: units are safely depressurised, the agent is separated, and the cylinders go to licensed recyclers.
